In 2022, he entered the top 30 in world rankings after a string of impressive results. In 2019, Kecmanovic was voted ATP’s New Comer Of The Year. He won his first ATP title on clay at the Kitzbühel Open, Austria. He was briefly coached by former world number 3, David Nalbandian. 

Miomir Kecmanovic is a former number 1 junior player in the world. Being a top junior player from Serbia is not easy. Serbians expect him to be the next Novak Djokovic. In 2021, Dunlop signed Kecmanovic to a three-year racquet sponsorship contract. He uses the Dunlop SX 300 Racquet. with Dunlop Explosive Spin strings.  He was previously using Babolat racquets.
