Match In Africa 6 Raises More Than $3.5 Million

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal raised more than $3.5 million dollars in the sixth edition of Match in Africa in Cape Town, South Africa. The funds raised will go the Roger Federer’s foundation, which helps educate African children.

In the singles, Federer defeated Nadal 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in front of a world record audience of  51,954 people.

The event also featured a doubles match with Rafael Nadal and comedian Trevor Noah teaming up against Roger Federer and Bill Gates.  Federer and Gates won 6-3.
