Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk married her fiance’ Heorhii on November 1st. Georgiy is a former tennis player and is now a financial trader. The couple got engaged in March 2023.

Since Ukraine is in the middle of a war with Russia, the couple married at the Minthis Resort in Cyprus. Ukrainian social media channels shared beautiful pictures from the wedding.

Marta Kostyuk comes from a sports family – her mother and sister played tennis. Her mom was her first coach and inspired her to play tennis professionally.

To date, her best grand slam result came at the 2021 French Open where she reached the semifinals. At the 2023 Australian Open, she reached the doubles semifinals with partner Elena-Gabriela Ruse.
