Luisa Stefani played college tennis at Pepperdine University where she was the ITA National Rookie of the Year in 2015. Stefani tried her hand at singles but didn’t find much success.

She has mostly been playing doubles for the last few years. Her best doubles result came at the 2021 US Open where she reached the semifinals. At the 2023 Australian Open, she won her mixed doubles with fellow Brazilian Rafael Matos.
