John Isner and his wife Madison are now parents to a third child, a baby boy who was born on October 12, 2021. The couple already has a daughter Grace, who was born in 2018, and a son John, who was born in 2019. Jack Sock, Reilly Opelka, and many other tennis players congratulated the couple.
Isner pulled out of Indian Wells to be with his wife. He had entered for the singles and doubles competitions in the draw. The couple announced in July that they are expecting their third child.

John Isner played college tennis at the University of Georgia. Upon graduation, he turned pro and found a lot of success on the ATP tour. He reached a career-high ranking of world number 8 in 2018. He reached the semifinals at Wimbledon in 2018. At 6 ft 10 inches, he is one of the tallest players on the tour and is well-known for his big serve. In 2017, Isner married Madison McKinley, a jewelry designer in South Carolina.
