British tennis star Johanna Konta announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend, Jackson Wade. Konta showed off her engagement ring on Instagram.

Konta revealed that she got engaged on her 30th birthday – May 17th, 2021. Jackson Wade is a film producer and photographer. The couple lives together in London.

In 2016, Johanna Konta became the first British tennis player to be ranked Top 10 in the world in 30 years. Though a grand slam singles title had eluded her so far, she has reached the semifinals at 3 grand slams, including at Wimbledon.

Konta’s best results have come on the hardcourt. She dominates her opponents with her flat and powerful groundstrokes. She has often been criticized for lack of mental toughness in tough matches. 

Konta was born to Hungarian parents in Sydney, Australia. She moved to the UK when she was 14. She started representing Britain after she became a British citizen in 2012.
