Czech tennis player Jiri Lehecka’s parents are both athletes – his father was a swimmer and his mother a track and field athlete. His grandmother was a national level tennis player. So it’s no surprise that Lehecka chose sports as well.

His idols while growing up were Tomas Berdych and Radek Stepanek. In 2019, he won the Wimbledon boys’ doubles title with Jonas Forejtek. In 2021, he won two 2 challenger singles titles, which helped him improve his rankings. In 2022, he broke into the Top 100 in world rankings. His sponsors are Wilson and Le Coq Sportif.
