Iga Swiatek has pulled out of Charleston with an arm injury. The Polish star has been on an incredible run this year. She won the Sunshine double – Miami and Indian wells – easily by blowing her opponents off the court.

Her best surface is clay. She was hoping to kick off the clay court season at Charleston but has withdrawn from the tournament due to injury.

Iga Swiatek will become the world number 1 after Ashleigh Barty‘s unexpected retirement from tennis.
