Surprising many, Danish tennis player Holger Rune reached the quarterfinals at the 2022 French Open. He won his first ATP title at the Bavarian International Tennis Championships where he beat Alexander Zverev along the way. He is the highest ranked Danish planer in ATP history. 

Rune has trained at the Mouratoglou Academy since 2016. In 2019, he was the number one junior player in the world.
