Felix Auger-Aliassime has signed a long-term clothing and shoe sponsorship deal with Adidas. This means that Nike has let another tennis player away from its stable.
Auger-Aliassime will wear the Adidas Ubersonic 4 shoes on the court. Adidas already sponsors top stars such as Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Dominic Thiem. Adidas also has up-and-comers like Sebastian Korda wearing three stripes.
By signing a young star to a long-term deal, Adidas has ensured that it will have a strong brand presence in men’s tennis for years to come.
This is not the first time Auger-Aliassime has been wearing Adidas. He wore Adidas as a junior before switching to Nike.
After an impressive junior career in which he won the US Open title in 2016, Auger-Aliassime has been one of the consistent performers on the men’s tour.
