Vodafone has signed up Emma Raducanu as its ambassador. The sponsorship deal is reportedly worth $4 million per year. After her surprising 2021 victory, Raducanu has inked sponsorship deals with Tiffany & Co., Dior, British Airways, and Porche.
With the partnership, Raducanu will be the face of the “Play your way to Wimbledon” event – a joint campaign by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) and Vodafone. It includes tournaments for under 14s and under 18s for the chance to play at Wimbledon in August.
I’m so excited to be working with Vodafone to inspire the next generation of tennis players in the UK,” The support I received at a grassroots level has been key to my development as a player, and I’m looking forward to helping make these initiatives even bigger, better and more accessible.
Emma Raducanu became the first British woman to win a grand slam title since Virginia Wade in 1977. Since her dream run at the 2021 US Open, she has been courted by sponsors. She has been appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2022 New Year Honors for services to tennis.
