Daria Kasatkina comes from a sports family. Her parents were both national athletes – her mom in athletics and her dad in ice hockey. She won the 2014 junior French Open title. She won her first WTA title as a teenager at the Charleston Open. 

Her favorite player is Rafael Nadal. She loves football and follows FC Barcelona. She came out as bisexual during an interview in 2021. She currently has a sponsorship with Artengo (Decathlon) and Adidas.
