Miomir Kecmanovic Switches To Dunlop Racquets
Dunlop has signed Serbian player Miomir Kecmanovic to a three-year contract. Kecmanovic will be using the SX 300 racket along with Dunlop’s Explosive Spin strings. He was previously using Babolat racquets.
Kecmanovic is one of the up-and-coming players on the tour. He reached a career-high ranking of 30 in 2022. He qualified for the NextGen finals in 2020 but the event was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kecmanovic won the Orange Bowl for two consecutive years in 2015 and 2016. In 2015, he beat Stefanos Tsitsipas to win the Orange Bowl title. Orange Bowl is a prestigious junior tennis tournament that has been won by John McEnroe, Roger Federer, Andy Roddick, and Dominic Thiem.
Dunlop, in its heydays, was used by Steffi Graf, John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, and Rod Laver. Wimbledon and US Open finalist Kevin Anderson and doubles specialist Jamie Murray are among the few players using Dunlop racquets these days.
