Luggage brand Away has partnered with tennis star Serena Williams in a multi-year deal. The company announced the launch of a luggage collection it codesigned with the tennis star. The company promised that there will be more Away Serena Williams products coming in 2020.
Williams will also be featured in the in-house print Magazine, Away. Williams has previously worked with Nike and HSN. She also has her own label, Serena.
Away had previously launched products in collaboration with Karlie Kloss and Dwyane Wade. The company was founded in 2016, and is headquartered in New York.
Garbiñe Muguruza was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Her mom is from Venezuela and her dad is from Spain. She moved to Spain when she was 6. She plays for Spain but holds dual Spanish-Venezuelan nationality.
