Sebastian Korda was meant to be a tennis player. Both his parents were tennis players. Korda racked up impressive results in juniors including winning the 2018 junior Australian Open title. In 2021, he won his first ATP title becoming the first American to win a European clay court title in more than a decade.

Sebastian Korda played competitive junior hockey but switched his attention full time to tennis at age 9 after going to the 2009 Australian Open with his dad, Petr Korda.  His dad Petr Korda was ranked No. 2 in the world in 1998 and won the 1998 Australian Open. His mom Regina Rajchrtová was also a professional tennis player and reached a career-high ranking of 26.

Sports runs in the Korda family. Sisters, Jessica and Nelly, are pro golfers. Sebastian Korda’s other sports interests include hockey and golf. His idols growing up were his father Petr, Rafael Nadal, and Czech player, Radek Stepanek.

His best grand slam result came at the 2021 US Open where he reached the fourth round. He reached his career-high ranking of world number 27 in 2022. His current sponsors are Nike, Motorola, Wilson, and Richard Mille. He has earned over $3 million in his career.

In 2022, Korda switched his affiliation to Nike. Previously, Korda wore Adidas apparel and shoes on the court. His association with Adidas goes back to his junior tennis days.

Wilson

Korda has a racquet sponsorship deal with Wilson. He currently uses the Wilson Blade 98 racquet.

Motorola

Motorola signed a partnership deal with Korda in 2021. The company also sponsors other American tennis players such as Sofia Kenin and Brandon Nakashima.

Richard Mille

Korda has a sponsorship contract with luxury watchmaker Richard Mille. He often wears Richard Mille watches during his matches.

Sponsors of Norwegian Tennis Star Casper Ruud

Casper Ruud’s breakthrough came in 2022 when he reached two grand slam finals – French Open and the US Open.  He reached the French Open final again in 2023. Though he came up short on those three occasions occasions, a grand slam title is within reach given Ruud’s huge talent. Ruud had always played his best tennis on clay, but he is also a good player on hard courts.

Norwegian tennis player Caper Ruud followed in the footsteps of his father. Casper Ruud’s father Christian Ruud reached a career-high ranking of 39 and has coached Casper. Caper Ruud is a former junior world number one player.

In 2022, Ruud announced a partnership with Norwegian CRM software company SuperOffice. The company is headquartered in Oslo, Norway.

Samsonite

In 2023, Samsonite signed a multi-year partnership with Ruud and appointed his as its global ambassador.
