Two-time Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova married Jiri Vanek in Prague. Vanek has been coaching Kvitova since 2016. The pair have been dating since 2021.

Jiri Vanek is 12 years older than Kvitova.  He is a former tennis pro with a career-high singles ranking of world number 74. He succeeded on the challenger tour but did not win an ATP title.

Kvitova won the Wimbledon singles title in 2011 and 2014. She also reached the 2019 Australian Open final where she lost to Naomi Osaka. In 2011, she also won the year-end WTA finals beating Victoria Azarenka. She has earned more than $37 million in prize money during her career.

Denis Shapovalov and his Mirjam Björklund are engaged. The couple shared the news on social media with pictures. Shapovalov proposed to Björklund  in Bastad, Sweden. The couple have been together since 2019.

Though they played juniors around the same time, they didn’t know each other well until 2019 when they started dating. They recently celebrated their four-year anniversary.

Björklund plays on the WTA tour and is currently ranked world number 132. A number of ATP and WTA players such as Sloane Stephens, Monica Puig, and Felix Auger-Aliassime congratulated the couple.

In 2021, Denis Shapovalov reached the semifinals at Wimbledon. He has been ranked as high as world number 10 in the world.
