David Goffin has been the top men’s tennis player from Belgium for some time. He is the first Belgian male player to be ranked in the ATP top 10. He reached his career-high ranking of world number 7 in 2017. He has reached the quarterfinal stage of a grand slam four times in his career. He helped Belgium reach the Davis Cup finals twice – in 2015 and 2017.

He was introduced to the game by his dad, Michel, who is a tennis coach. Goffin is an offensive baseliner with a good forehand. But his backhand is his best shot and is considered one of the best in tennis. He considers Roger Federer as his idol. When he is not playing tennis, he enjoys golf.

Goffin’s partnership with AA drink goes back to 2017. The company makes nutritional drinks to improve athletes’ performance.

Setteo is a social network for racquet sports. Goffin became the company’s first ambassador in 2018.

Brandon Nakashima Captures First Challenger Title In Orlando

Up and coming American player Brandon Nakashima won his first challenger title in Orlando beating Prajnesh Gunneswaran. 6-3, 6-4 in the final. Nakashima did not drop a set all week.

Brandon Nakashima, who is 19 years and 3 months old, is the youngest American to win a challenger title since Frances Tiafoe who also won the title at 19 years and 3 months.

17-year old Carlos Alcaraz won three challenger titles this year. The Spaniard is certain to be a top player in a few years. Lorenzo Musetti also won a challenger title this year at 18 years.

With the win, Nakashima moves to No. 166 in the ranking. Fellow American Sebastian Korda won a challenger title in Eckental, Germany earlier this month.
