Serena Williams And Maria Sharapova On Friendly Terms Again, Hang Out Together At The Met Gala

The tennis world was abuzz on hearing that Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova were hanging out together at the the Met gala. Serena and Sharapova have had a frosty relationship for many years. To add to the fun, Venus Williams also joined the party.

Three tennis stars posted multiple pictures on social media – including one in the bathroom. Maria Sharapova retired in 2020 after a long struggle with injuries.

In her book, Sharapova addressed her rivalry with Serena Williams. The drive to win and the intensity of the tour made their relationship difficult. But she hoped that they could become friendly again after retirement. Looks like that time has come.

Leylah Hernandez: “Steve Nash Inspired Me. Hope To Play Tennis With Him”

Steve Nash has inspired many Canadian athletes. After an impressive 18-year career in the NBA, he is now the coach of the Brooklyn Nets. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018.

Nash is an active tennis player and has attended many tournaments. He has been attending matches at the US Open this year, where Canadian Leylah Fernandez has had a cinderella run.

I remember when I was younger, my dad used him as an example, and told me I had to work hard like Steve Nash. Hopefully we can have a tennis match soon

In 2019, she defeated Emma Navarro to win the 2019 girls’ French Open title. She was the first Canadian junior grand slam champion since Eugenie Bouchard won the 2012 girls’ Wimbledon Championships. She also reached the finals of the 2019 Australian Open juniors.

Hernandez had a great run but lost the final to Emma Raducanu but the future looks bright for the Canadian. Future also looks bright for Canada, which has several young players including Bianca Andreescu, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Denis Shapovalov.
