Caroline Wozniacki To Play Angelique Kerber In February 2022

Caroline Wozniacki will play her farewell match against Angelique Kerber on February 9, 2022, at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. Wozniacki was scheduled to play her farewell match against her good friend Serena Williams in May 2020 but the match was canceled due to COVID-19.

Tickets for the event dubbed, “The Final One” is available for sale here. Wozniacki is one of Denmark’s greatest athletes. She is a former world number 1 and has won 30 titles in her career including the 2018 Australian Open.

Wozniacki retired from tennis after the 2020 Australian Open. She married former NBA player David Lee in 2019 and the couple has a daughter Olivia, who was born in June 2021.

Kerber is a former world number one and a three-time grand slam champion. She won the bronze medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.

Steve Nash To Play Charity Tennis Match In San Diego Against Landon Donovan

Coach of the NBA team Brooklyn Nets will play a charity tennis match against retired soccer player Landon Donovan at the Barnes Tennis Center. Nash and Donovon play in the USTA league in Southern California.

The friendly tennis match will precede the marquee matches at the Barnes Tennis Center, which is hosting the San Diego Open. Top players including Andrey Rublev, Hubert Hurkacz, and Taylor Fritz.

The proceeds from the charity tennis match will benefit Rady’s Children’s Hospital. Tickets for the event start at $55.

Steve Nash, who is Canadian is a two-time MVP and an eight-time NBA All-Star. He played in the NBA for almost 20 years and spent his peak years playing for the Phoenix Suns.

Landon Donovan is regarded as one of America’s best soccer players. He represented the US in 157 games. He holds several records in Major League Soccer (MLS).
