Who Is Naomi Osaka’s Coach?

Naomi Osaka currently does not have a coach. Naomi Osaka was previously coached by Wim Fissette. Fissette, a highly regarded coach on the women’s tour coached Osaka since late 2019 and helped her win two grand slam titles. He previously coached Kim Clijsters, Victoria Azarenka, Simona Halep, and Angelique Kerber.

Before that, Osaka was coached by Sascha Bajin. Osaka terminated that coaching relationship despite winning two grand slam titles with Bajin. She was also briefly coached by Jermaine Jenkins.

Osaka is the highest-paid athlete in the world. She grew up in the US but decided to represent Japan, where she was born. Osaka lit the  Olympic cauldron at the opening ceremony at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Naomi Osaka has used her status as a top tennis play to promote social justice and bring awareness to mental health issues. She withdrew from the 2021 French Open and Wimbledon after refusing to attend post-match press conferences to protect her mental health.

Genie Bouchard To Play For Chicago Smash In 2021

Canadian star Genie Bouchard will be back with Chicago Smash after the team traded Leylah Fernandez to the Orange County Breakers. World Team Tennis will be held at Indian Wells on Nov. 13-28.

Bouchard underwent arthroscopic surgery in June 2021. It’s not certain that she will play at this year’s competition. In interviews, Bouchard has been hinting at a 2022 return to the tennis court.

In 2014, Genie Bouchard reached the finals at Wimbledon and semifinals at the Australian Open and French Open. She has been struggling with injuries for several years.

The Chicago Smash franchise was founded in 2020. The team plays its home matches at the Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago. The team has several top players such as Sam Querrey, Frances Tiafoe, and Sloane Stephens.
