Anti-Vaxxer Tennys Sandgren Gets Love From Serb Tennis Fans After Novak Djokovic’s Visa Dust-up

Fans of anti-vaxxer Novak Djokovic have found a new friend in Tennys Sandgren, who also hold anti-vaccine views (and is probably unvaccinated).

This is not the first time Sandgren has been in the news for his controversial views. In 2018, as his tennis career was taking off, fans found alt-right  messages on his  social media account.  But he quickly deleted messages from his social media feed to avoid controversy.

Tennys Sandgren has been active on Twitter expressing his support for Djokovic.

He also got hundreds of new followers from Serbia.

John Isner is another player who has not been afraid to voice his opinion. Isner feels that Djokovic followed the rules and that his detention is a disgrace.

Alex de Minaur Thinks Novak Djokovic’s Vaccine Exemption Is A Joke

Alex de Minaur is a nice bloke. He is not the one to stir up a storm by making controversial comments. At the press conference following their doubles match at the ATP Cup, James Duckworth and de Minaur were asked about Novak’s vaccine exemption for the Australian Open.

Duckworth suggested that if Djokovic met all the requirements, he had the right to get an exemption from an independent panel. Alex de Minaur cheekily replied that Duckworth had said all the right things in a politically correct way. Check out the video here.
