Simona Halep To Work With Longtime Serena Williams Coach Patrick Mouratoglou

After coaching Serena Williams for many years, Patrick Mouratoglou will now coach Simona Halep. Serena Williams hasn’t played since 2021 Wimbledon. Mouratoglou is a super coach – he helped Serena win 10 of her 23 grand slam titles.

Serena Williams is close to retirement, though we don’t know how long she plans to play. Speaking of the difficult break up with Williams, Mouratoglou said:

I have the highest respect for her but it was out of the question at the time. A few weeks later, I had a conversation with Serena, and the door opened for me, at least short term, to work with someone else.

Patrick Mouratoglou runs the Mouratoglou Academy where top players such as Coco Gauff, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Grigor Dimitrov have trained.

Simona Halep is a two-time grand slam champion. She won the 2018 French Open and 2019 Wimbledon titles. She was ranked world number one for 64 weeks between 2017 and 2019.

Casper Ruud Inks Partnership Deal with CRM Software Company SuperOffice

Casper Ruud announced a sponsorship deal with CRM solutions company SuperOffice. Superoffice, based in Oslo, Norway sells customer relationship management software in the business-to-business market. The company was founded by  Une Amundsen in 1990.

Speaking of the partnership, SuperOffice said:

We are very inspired by Casper ́s journey and there are many similarities and learning points between his and our journey. Both Casper and SuperOffice have clear ambitions and a desire to reach our goals. We plan long-term and our execution involves constant improvements and changes to bring out the best possible result. Both of us also take on strong competitors from different parts of the world, and we succeed in winning most of these battles.

Casper Ruud is ranked in the Top 10 in the world. Ruud is the first Norwegian to win an ATP title. In his career, he achieved several firsts for a Norwegian, and broke records held by his father Christina Ruud. Ruud considers clay as his best surface. Not surprisingly, Rafael Nadal is his idol.

Casper Ruud’s has sponsorship deals with several companies including Yonex, The Arctic Group, Proaktiv, Lundin Energy, Vasser, and Porsche.
