Nike Signs 10-Year Extension With Jannik Sinner Worth €150 million

Jannik Sinner has reportedly signed a €150 million 10-year extension with Nike. Sinner is one of the most promising young players and pundits expect him to win multiple grand slams titles in his career.

Most likely, the €15 million a year deal is based on Sinner meeting certain performance targets on the court. Nike already has another young star, Carlos Alcaraz, on its roster. Nike is known for identifying young stars early and signing them up for long-term contracts.

In 2021, he made his Top 10 debut. His best grand slam results came at the Australian Open and French Open, where he reached the quarterfinals.

Jannik Sinner trained for many years under legendary Italian coach Riccardo Piatt. Though they split recently, Piatti played a key role in developing Sinner’s game.

Czech Tennis Star Barbora Krejcikova To Wear Fila

Fila has signed a sponsorship deal with Czech tennis star Barbora Krejcikova. Krejcikova was previously sponsored by Head head to toe. She will wear the Fila apparel and shoes for the first time at the French Open.

Head was criticized by fans for providing Krejcikova almost identical apparel for every tournament. Though she won the 2021 French Open title, she had difficulty attracting sponsors. Krejcikova recently switched to a new management agency, Octagon. Octagon played a key role in her new sponsorship deal with Fila.

Barbora Krejcikova is one of the few players on the tour who plays both singles and doubles.  With her regular doubles partner Katerina Siniakova, Krejcikova won the gold medal in doubles at the Tokyo Olympics.
