Sebastian Korda Switches To Nike

Sebastian Korda has switched to Nike. The American tennis star was previously wearing Adidas apparel and shoes. Adidas has a strong line-up of tennis stars endorsing the brand including Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsistipas, and Felix Auger-Aliassime.

The mid-season switch of a sponsor is not too common in tennis but it looks like Nike wanted to sign up an up-and-coming tennis player to its roster, which has been shrinking lately. The brand recently dropped former top ten player, Jack Sock.

Among the young top players, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, Italian tennis players Jannik Sinner and Lorenzo Musetti, and American Taylor Fritz endorse Nike. Practicing prior to the Atlanta Open, Korda was seen wearing Nike Vapor Pro shoes and Nike apparel.

Interestingly, Sebastian Korda was seen wearing a Motorola patch on his shirt. Nike typically doesn’t allow its athletes to wear patches from other brands on its shirts though it made an exception for Naomi Osaka.
