Miomir Kecmanovic Splits With David Nalbandian, Hires Wayne Black As Coach

Miomir Kecmanovic, who finished 2022 ranked inside the top 30, has split with coach David Nalbandian. The up-and-coming Serb has been working with Nalbandian for almost two years and saw his best results during that time.

In recent months, Nalbandian has not been able to spend a lot of time with Kecmanovic and that was the reason for the split. Kecmanovic will now work with Wayne Black. Black is a former grand slam champion in doubles and won 18 doubles titles in his career. He reached a peak singles ranking of world number 69.

2022 was an excellent year for Miomir Kecmanovic. He reached the fourth round at the Australian Open and the third round at the French Open and Wimbledon. He also reached the quarterfinals at Indian Wells and Miami.

At age 13, he moved to Flordia and trained at the IMG academy. He won his first title in 2020 at the Austrian Open beating Yannick Hanfmann in the final.
