Frances Tiafoe‘s Nike outfit at the Australian Open is turning heads. The multi-colored sleeveless outfit that Tiafoe is wearing allows him to show off his biceps. He was also wearing shoes that had cherry blossom designs.

It was a bold design from Nike, which has been panned for its awful fashion design on its tennis apparel over the years. It was also a great choice to choose Tiafoe to wear this outfit since he is one of the very few who could pull this off.

On the women’s side, Victoria Azarenka was wearing a similarly colored outfit. She couldn’t pull off the look like Tiafoe as fans were mocking Nike for its design.

Russian tennis star Diana Shnaider is the former junior world number 3. As a junior, she won two doubles grand slam titles. Since moving to the women’s tour, she has rapidly risen in the rankings. In 2022, she won her first WTA Challenger title at the Montevideo Open. She made her grand slam debut at the 2023 Australian Open where she reached the second round.

She signed up to play college tennis at North Carolina State University. It will be interesting to see how long she plays college tennis given the progress she has made on the ATP tour.
