Fabio Fognini and Flavia Pennetta announced that they are expecting a third child in early 2022. The couple has two children – a boy, Federico born in 2017, and a girl Farah born in 2019.

Pennetta posted a cute message on Instagram with a picture of her two kids kissing her.

Someone says that 3 is the perfect number. Maybe it’s really true because with three words I can express everything I feel right now. I LOVE YOU!
We are delighted and can’t wait to meet you, little one

Pennetta won 11 WTA titles in her career. Her long singles grand slam came at the 2015 US Open. She married fellow Italian tennis player, Fabio Fognini in June 2016.

Though Fognini is a former top 10 singles player, Fognini’s biggest win came at the 2015 Australian Open doubles competition where he won the title with another Italian, Simone Bolelli. They became the first all-Italian doubles team to win a grand slam in the Open era.
