Coco Gauff won her first WTA title in 2019 at age 15. Tennis has been her highest priority for many years. Yet, Gauff found the time to focus on school. She graduated from high school this month, right before playing the French Open.
Coco Gauff graduated from the Florida Virtual Flex program, which allows students to take online classes and frees us time to pursue other aspirations. Gauff posed for pictures in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris in a graduation gown and showing off her high school diploma.
Gauff grew up in Atlanta and was motivated to play tennis after watching Serena Williams on TV. Both her parents are former athletes – her dad played basketball at Georgia State University and her mom was a track and field athlete at Florida State University.
