Sean McEnroe, son of tennis great John McEnroe and Tatum O’Neal, announced on social media that he had married his wife Niamh last September. He revealed that the couple had a miscarriage and had decided to keep the wedding news private while the couple worked through a difficult time.

He posted a lovely message on Instagram with a picture.

I can’t think of a better way to start 2021 than to share with all of you that Niamh and I are officially Mr. and Mrs. McEnroe.

When Niamh first came to live with me in LA two years ago, I had one of the worst breakdowns of my life. I don’t remember exactly what set me off, but it was something related to my family and traumas from my childhood. It was one of the most challenging emotional experiences I’ve ever had. I remember taking a huge crystal and throwing it as hard as I could through a painting, which also went through the wall, leaving a huge hole.

Sean McEnroe is a photographer and an artist. Despite his famous parents, he has pursued his own path. He has talked about his financial struggles – he worked as a busboy and a Lyft driver to support himself through hard times.

According to his mom, Tatum O’ Neal, Sean, and his father John McEnroe don’t talk to each other. Sean has used some of his photographs to raise money for charitable organizations.

He also goes by the name, Sean O’Neal, to forge his own path and not be restricted by his famous last name.
