Kyle Edmund was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. His dad is from Zimbabwe, and his mom is from South Africa. His mom is a former sprinter. He moved to Yorkshire, UK when he was 3, and started playing tennis when he was 10.

His nickname is “Kedders”. His favorite tennis players while growing up were countryman Andy Murray and Marat Safin.

Wozniacki To Retire After 2020 Australian Open

Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki announced that she will retire from tennis after the Australian Open. Wozniacki won the 2018 Australian Open and was number 1 in the world for 71 weeks.

The 29-year old won 30 singles titles and earned more than $30 million. She is currently ranked 37 in the world.

Wozniacki shared the news on social media with her fans.  She also announced she will launch a campaign to raise awareness about rheumatoid arthritis when she retires. In October 2018, the Dane revealed that she has been diagnosed with the disease.

Wozniacki clarified that her retirement had nothing to do with her health.

Wozniacki married former basketball player David Lee earlier this year.
