Head’s Graphene 360+ Gravity line of racquets has racquets for players at all levels. Head Gravity Pro is the heaviest. In addition, Gravity racquet line includes Gravity MP, and MP Lite, S, and Lite options. MP and MP Lite models offer more control, S and Lite models offer more power.
All Head Gravity racquets include Graphene 360+ technology which combines HEAD’s signature Graphene 360 technology, which is optimized for energy transfer, with spiral fibers for enhanced flex. All racquets have low flex ratings and are easy on your elbow and arm.
Head Gravity Pro racquet has plenty to like for intermediate to advanced players. The racquet has a forgiving 100 sq. in head that will allow you to hit the ball with confidence and not worry about mishits. The dense 18 x 20 string pattern gives you excellent control. The string pattern offers a low launch angle but you will get used to it quickly.
Head Gravity Pro is easy on the arm with a stiffness rating of 62. It’s great to see a good racquet that is arm-friendly. Racquet makers have been coming out with stiffer racquets in recent years, which has exacerbated tennis elbow problems among tennis players.
Head Gravity Pro’s 11.7 oz string weight and 332 swing weight gives you enough mass to drive and redirect your groundstrokes from the baseline. The racquet has enough mass to both attack the ball and to block or redirect pace from the baseline.
At the net, the large sweet spot, combined with the great feel of the racquet allows to accurately tackle the volleys. The racquet doesn’t flutter and holds its own against fast incoming balls. For those who like to hit swing volleys, the racquet offers good control on your shots.
The racquet is great for hitting powerful flat serves with control. The slice serves also work well with this racquet. Comparing to other Head racquets, the Head Gravity Pro offers better feel than the Head Radical and more power than the Head Speed racquets. The racquet has one of the good looking frames with nice color combinations.
Among the top pros, Alexander Zverev and Andrey Rublev use the Head Gravity Pro racquets. Retired Ashleigh Barty also used the Head Gravity racquets.
