Emil Ruusuvuori has switched to Head clothing. He was previously wearing Asics. He is still wearing Asics shoes and it’s not clear if he will be switching those to Head as well. He is using Head racquets. 

In the last couple of years, Ruusuvuori has steadily climbed up the rankings. he finished 2022 ranked world number 40. He has yet to win a singles title. He reached the finals at the Maharashtra Open in 2022 where he lost to Joao Sousa. 

As a junior, Ruusuvuori was ranked world number 5. He reached the semifinals at the US Open juniors in 2017.

Anna Rybakina has attracted attention for her reactions on the sidelines as she watched her sister Elena Rybakina play at Indian Wells. She was seen cheering, praying, and going through emotions as Elena Rybakina’s matches waxed and waned through the week.

Anna Rybnakina is the older sister of Elena Rybakina. Speaking of her sister’s reaction during her matches, Elena Rybakina said:

Actually, when she talks to me she’s very calm, but then I see all these videos during the matches and I’m like, what were you doing? She’s very emotional and she supports me a lot

Some fans thought Anna was too animated while others thought it was a normal reaction while supporting her sister.

Rybakina went on to win the Indian Wells title by beating Aryna Sabalenka in the final. During her impressive run, she also beat world number one, Iga Swiatek.
