Novak Djokovic “The GOAT” Open To Coaching After Retirement

In many ways, Novak Djokovic is the greatest tennis player ever. The few who remain unconvinced of Djokovic’s greatness will admit his domination before he is done.

Djokovic beat Daniil Medvedev 4-6 6-3 6-3 in the final to win his sixth Paris Masters and his 37th Masters title overall . Djokovic used serve and volley many times to take advantage of how far back Medvedev was standing behind the baseline.

The win also ensured that Djokovic will finish as world number 1 for the seventh year in his career. Djokovic was also coaching other players after he retires.

What am I supposed to do when I retire — take it to my grave so that those who come after me are unable to benefit from my philosophy, work methods and approach?

For me, it’s only logical that the next step should be to pass my knowledge on to others. I see myself in various roles in the future and I am glad that I can also develop as a coach.

His two children –  Stefan and Tara  were in the stands along with his wife Jelena and coach Goran Ivanisevic. Djokovic said

I always dreamed of having my children in the stands, with them being old enough [to understand]. This is what life is all about, sharing these moments with the dear ones. My children are my greatest success, my greatest treasure.
