Mitchell Krueger most plays on the challenger circuit. He has struggled to qualify for ATP tournaments and grand slams. His singles ranking peaked at world number 159 in 2019. 

Krueger has tennis in his genes – his father Myron played tennis for Texas A&M University and his mother Marla played tennis at Louisiana Tech and is a tennis coach. 

Kruger plays World Team Tennis. He has played for the Philadelphia Freedom and Springfield Laser teams. His idols growing up were Andre Agassi and Andy Roddick. He is a Dallas native and supports the Dallas Mavericks (NBA) and the Cowboys (NFL). He married his girlfriend Jeannie in 2020. His current sponsors are Yonex and K-Swiss.
