Lucie Safarova became a mom for the second time. She welcomed a baby boy Oliver last week. Safarova is married to former NHL player Tomáš Plekanec. 

Safarova shared the happy news on social media with a picture of her two kids and a message. 

Little brother is here!! We are excited to welcome you to our family Oliver! Thank you to my hometown hospital for amazing care!

Safarova reached the finals at the French Open in 2015. She won 7 singles title and reached a peak ranking of world number 5. She found more success in doubles, where she was world number 1. She won five doubles grand slam titles in her career. She retired from professional tennis  in 2019.
