Leonardo Mayer married his longtime girlfriend Milagros Aventin in a ceremony in Buenos Aires December 14th. The wedding was followed by a party  in the prominent neighborhood of Puerto Madero.

The wedding ceremony was attended by Mayer’s close friends on the ATP tour including Juan Martin del Potro, Diego Schwartzman, Pablo Cuevas, Horacio Zeballos and Federico Delbonis.

Mayer reached a career high singles ranking of 21 in 2015 and has 1 singles title to his name.  He was part of the Argentine team that won the Davis Cup in 2016. In 2019, he reached the doubles semifinals at the Australian Open with Joao Sousa.
