Ekaterina  Alexandrova made her WTA debut in 2016. She made her first WTA final at the Korea Open in 2018. In 2020, she won her first title at the Shenzhen Open

In 2021, Ekaterina  Alexandrova  was part of the Russian team that won the Billie Jean King Cup Finals. She was a fan of Roger Federer and Steffi Graf while growing up.

Alexandrova has lived and trained in the Czech Republic for a long time. Though she considered changing her citizenship to the Czech Republic, she continues to play for Russia. Her sponsors are Wilson and Fila. She has earned over $5 million in her career.
