Denis Shapovalov certainly belongs to the growing number of top players coming out of Canada.  Shapovalov has an apparel and shoe sponsorship deal with Nike. He currently wears the Nike Air Zoom Vapor X shoes.

Shapovalov hails from a tennis family.  His mom Tessa is a tennis coach.  She started coaching Shapovalov at age 5 and developed his game.  She runs a tennis academy in Vaughan. Shapovalov reached the semifinals at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships.
