Daria Kasatkina is dating figure skater Natalia Zabiiako. The pair have been public about their relationship with Zabiiako often sitting in the stands supporting Kasatkina  during matches.

Kasatkina has been open about her sexual orientation and her preference for girls. While she has faced backlash, she has also received support from many top WTA players for coming out as a lesbian.

Earlier this year, Kasatkina talked about coming out.

Living in the closet is impossible. Not for the long run, no. It is too hard. It is pointless, you will be completely focused on that until you choose to come out. Of course, it is up to you to decide how to do it and how much you tell.

Zabiiako was born in Estonia but currently represents Russia in figure skating. She has won many medals in skating competitions around the world.

Kasatkina reached the semifinals at the 2022 French Open – her best grand slam result in her career. She made her top 10 ranking debut in 2018.
