Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta married his girlfriend Claudia Diaz in Gijon. The wedding was a private event attended by close friends and family. Claudia Diaz is a tax advisor.

Carreno Busta had an impressive 2021 season winning two titles (at Marbella and Hamburg). He also won the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics for Spain.

Top players such as Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal congratulated the newlywed couple. The couple also received well wishes from many current and former Spanish tennis players.

Carreno Busta has made two grand slam semifinals in his career. He reached his peak singles ranking of world number 10 in 2017. He was part of the Spanish team that won the 2019 Davis Cup.

Ashleigh Barty announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend Garry Kissick. Barty shared a picture of the two with the caption, “Future husband”. The couple has been dating since 2016.

Kissick is a golf professional at the Brookwater Golf and Country Club in Queensland. Several top players including Simona Halep, Sam Stosur, and Casey Dellacqua offered their best wishes to the couple on Instagram.

Though the couple likes to stay low profile, Kissick traveled to Wimbledon despite the COVID-19 restrictions in Australia. Barty warmly embraced him in the stands after winning the title.
