Johanna Konta married her fiancé’ Jackson Wade over the weekend. Konta shared the news on Twitter with a simple message. The couple announced its engagement in June.

Johanna Konta likes to keep her personal life private. So it’s not surprising that she didn’t build a buzz around her wedding. Konta recently announced her retirement from professional tennis.

Konta reached the semifinals at the Australian Open, French Open, and at Wimbledon but couldn’t break through to win a grand slam. She reached a career-high ranking of world number 4. She earned more than $10 million in prize money in her career.

Kei Nishikor and Mai Yamauchi Welcome First Child

Kei Nishikori and his wife Mai Yamauchi welcomed their first child a couple of weeks ago. It’s not known whether the child is a boy or a girl. Nishikori is known to be secretive about his private life. He married Mai Yamauchi in December 2020 after dating for almost 5 years.

After becoming a parent, Nishikori was able to appreciate the challenges of raising a child. Not surprisingly, Nishikori did not reveal the name of the child or release pictures.

Nishikori’s best grand slam result came at the 2014 US Open, where he reached the finals. In 2016, he won the Olympic bronze medal for Japan. Nishikori is one of the highest-paid tennis players in the world, earning more money than Rafael Nadal. He reached a career-high ranking of world number 4 in 2015.
