Zverev To Undergo Eye Surgery

Alexander Zverev will undergo eye surgery in the off season to correct deformation in the cornea.

Zverev lost in the semifinals of the Nitto ATP Finals.  He now heads to South America for a series of exhibition matches with Federer.

Alexander Zverev said,  “I’ll only have a few holidays. I’m actually going to go to New York to maybe do a small procedure that I have to do on my eyes. Then I’ll start training.”

Zverev continued, “I’m having trouble with my eyes and have had a lot of problems with my contact lenses this year.” He said that is suffering from a corneal curvature that is getting worse.

Roger Federer To Make $10 Million For Exhibition Matches In Latin America

Roger Federer is skipping Davis Cup and ATP Cup to play exhibition matches in Latin America.  Reports indicate that Federer will make $2 million per match. Since his playing 5 exhibition matches, his overall haul will be $10 million.

Organizers confirmed that despite the situation in Chile, Federer will play exhibition matches as scheduled.

Federer beat Novak Djokovic yesterday to reach the semi finals of the Nitto ATP Finals. If he reaches the finals, he will have only one day off before he starts off his exhibition tour in Santiago. His schedule is as follows.

🇦🇷 11/20 – BuenosAires

🇨🇴 11/22 – Bogota

🇲🇽 11/23 – MexicoCity

🇪🇨 11/24 – Quito

Federer plans donate most of the earnings from the exhibition matches to his charity.
