Brookly Deck Organizes Roast Of Andy Roddick To Raise Money For Charity

Brooklyn Decker has found an interesting way to raise money for the Andy  Roddick Foundation, a non-profit run by her husband Andy Roddick. She has put together an impressive list of people who will roast Andy Roddick while raising money for charity.

Among those on the list is one of Andy’s ex-girlfriends, Mandy More.  Also on the list are John Legend,  Chrissy Teigen,  football star Peyton Manning, Nick Kroll, and golfer Sergio Garcia.

This virtual event will be held on August 23rd and will be live-streamed.  You can buy tickets to the event for $25 at noloveandyroddick.org.

The Andy Roddick Foundation was started in 2000.  The Foundation focuses on providing high-quality learning for students and families in need.

Andy Roddick won the 2003 US Open title. He is the last American to win a singles grand slam. He also reached the finals at Wimbledon three times.  He retired from professional tennis in 2012.

Roddick and Brookly Decker started dating in 2007 and were married in 2009. The couple has two children, son Hank (born 2015)  and daughter Stevie (born 2017).

Serena Williams And Daughter Olympia Are Investors In Los Angeles Women’s Professional Soccer Team

National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) awarded Los Angeles an expansion team. The new team will start its season in 2022.

The investor group includes some well-known names in entertainment and sports. Investors include Serena Williams, her husband Alexis Ohanian, and her daughter Olympia.  The group includes several former US women’s soccer team players including Abby Wambach. Natalie Portman and Lily Singh are also involved with the team. 

It is worth noting that Olympia Ohanian, who was born in 2017, is now an owner of a professional sports team. 

If the Los Angeles team starts in 2022 as planned, it will be a decade since California has had a first division women’s soccer team. 

The team will be called the “Angel City” until a permanent name is agreed upon. The new team will be the 11th franchise of the NWSL.
