Sean McEnroe, son of tennis great John McEnroe and Tatum O’Neal, announced on social media that he had married his wife Niamh last September. He revealed that the couple had a miscarriage and had decided to keep the wedding news private while the couple worked through a difficult time.

He posted a lovely message on Instagram with a picture.

I can’t think of a better way to start 2021 than to share with all of you that Niamh and I are officially Mr. and Mrs. McEnroe.

When Niamh first came to live with me in LA two years ago, I had one of the worst breakdowns of my life. I don’t remember exactly what set me off, but it was something related to my family and traumas from my childhood. It was one of the most challenging emotional experiences I’ve ever had. I remember taking a huge crystal and throwing it as hard as I could through a painting, which also went through the wall, leaving a huge hole.

Sean McEnroe is a photographer and an artist. Despite his famous parents, he has pursued his own path. He has talked about his financial struggles – he worked as a busboy and a Lyft driver to support himself through hard times.

According to his mom, Tatum O’ Neal, Sean, and his father John McEnroe don’t talk to each other. Sean has used some of his photographs to raise money for charitable organizations.

He also goes by the name, Sean O’Neal, to forge his own path and not be restricted by his famous last name.  

Since entering the tour in 1998, Roger Federer has used many racquets. Starting with the tiny 85 sq. in. Pro Staff Original 6.0 in 1998, then moving to a 90 sq. in. Hyper Pro Staff 6.0, and finally to a 97 sq. in. Pro Staff RF 97 Autograph.

There were many limited edition racquets along the way. Occasionally, when he was testing out racquets, he used paint jobs.  But one thing that stayed a constant for more than twenty years –  a Wilson racquet.

All Of Roger Federer’s Racquets (1998-2022)

Pro Staff Original 6.0 85 (1998-2001)

Federer’s first racquet on the ATP tour was tiny by modern standards, measuring only 85 sq. inches. Pete Sampras used this racquet in his prime.

In fact, when Federer beat Pete Sampras at the 2001 Wimbledon, both players were using the same model racquet. Federer’s racquet was made in China but Sampras’ racquet was made in St.Vincent, a Caribbean island in the Grenadines.

Hyper Pro Staff  6.1 (2001-2002)

This racquet is 95 sq. inches. Federer didn’t make a switch from 85 sq. in racquet to a 95 sq. in. racquet. This was just a paint job on his Pro Staff 85 he was previously using.

Hyper Pro Staff 6.0 Yellow (2002-2003)

With the Hyper Pro Staff, Federer moved from an 85 sq. in. racquet to a 90 sq. in. racquet.

Pro Staff Tour 90 (2003-2004)

When Federer won his slam title at the 2003 Wimbledon Championships, he was using Pro Staff Tour 90.

nSix.One Tour 90 (2004-2006)

Federer played some of his best tennis between 2004 and 2006. He won a total of 11 grand slams during that time.

K-Factor Six.One Tour 90 (2007-2009)

This is the racquet Federer used to win the 2009 French Open title. Federer finally broke through in Roland Garros after years of trying.

Six.One Tour 90 BLX (2010-2011)

Federer won the 2010 Australian Open title with this racquet. 

Pro Staff Six.One 90 BLX (2012-2013)

This racquet has a classic look with a red and white design. Federer used this racquet to win the 2012 Wimbledon title. 

Pro Staff RF 97 Autograph (2014-2016)

This is a 97-sq. in. racquet with a 16×19 string pattern. Federer moved this bigger size racquet in 2014.

Experts had been calling for Federer to move to a bigger size racquet for years and he finally did with the Pro Staff RF 97 Autograph

Pro Staff  RF 97 Autograph Black (2016-2018)

Federer won two grand slam titles in 2017 in stunning fashion after his return from a knee injury with this racquet. 

Pro Staff  RF 97 Autograph Black & White (2018)

Federer won the 2018 Australian Open title with this racquet. This racquet was called the Tuxedo for its black and white colors.

Pro Staff Laver Cup Limited Edition Infrared (2018)

Federer used this red racquet at the 2018 Laver Cup. The limited-edition racquets were auctioned to raise money for charity. 

Pro Staff Laver Cup Limited Edition Blue (2019)

This blue racquet is the same racquet Federer used in the previous edition of the Laver Cup, except for the blue paint job. 

Pro Staff 97 Autograph v13 (2020)

This racquet was launched in 2020. Federer appeared in promotional videos for the racquet while he was recovering from his knee injury. Federer will use this racquet when he returns to tour in 2021.
