Brawl After Tennis Match – French Junior Tennis Player Slaps Opponent

Bad behavior in tennis has now reached its junior ranks. Top-seeded French junior Michael Kouame, who is 15 years old, slapped his opponent Raphael Nii Ankrah after losing to him at the ITF juniors tournament in Accra.

The incident occurred at the end of the match when the players were about to shake hands at the net. A brawl broke out  between the two placers after the slapping incident.

Kouame issued an apology online and said that he received verbal insults throughout the match, including some directed at his mother.

After a series of bad behaviors on the men’s tour, ATP said that it will start cracking down on bad behavior with harsher punishments.

Caroline Wozniacki Beats Angelique Kerber In Her Farewell Match In Copenhagen

Caroline Wozniacki finally got to say goodbye to fans at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen. In her farewell match, Wozniack beat her good friend Angelique Kerber 7-5, 6-4.

It was an exhibition match. So the result doesn’t matter. At the beginning of the match, it looked like Kerber took it easy and allowed Wozniacki to find her game. But Wozniacki got better as the match went on.

Caroline Wozniacki hasn’t played a competitive match in two years. She also had a baby during that time. But she played tennis at a high level against Kerber.

Wozniacki had hoped to play her match against Serena Williams in May 2020. But the match was postponed multiple times due to COVID-19.
