Retired Ashleigh Barty To Write Book Series Titled “Little Ash”

Retired Australian tennis star Ashleigh Barty has become an author. Barty plans to release a 6-book children’s series called “Little Ash”, which is scheduled for publication later this year. The stories will be based on her real-life experiences.

In March, Ashleigh Barty announced her retirement from tennis. The news shocked the tennis world as she was only 25 and was ranked number one in the world. Barty became the second Australian women’s tennis player to be ranked world number one after Evonne Goolagong Cawley.

She won three grand slam titles – the 2018 French Open, 2021 Wimbledon, and 2022 Australian Open. Barty was also an excellent doubles player. She won the 2018 doubles title at the US Open. She also reached the finals at grand slams five other times.

In 2014, Barty took a two-year break from tennis to play cricket. She returned to tennis in 2016 and found incredible success on the court.
