Barbora Krejcikova And Katerina Siniakova Complete Golden Career Grand Slam

At the 2022 US Open, Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková achieved a very unique feat. Krejcikova and Siniakova have won all four majors, an Olympic gold medal, and the WTA finals. The US Open doubles title was the sixth doubles grand slam title for the pair.

Only Pam Shriver, Gina Fernandez, Serena Williams, and Venus Williams have completed the Golden Career Grand Slam. So Krejcikova and Siniakova are in company with the best doubles players of all time.

In addition to her doubles accomplishments, Krejčíková is an accomplished singles player. She has won one Grand Slam singles title at Roland Garros in 2021. She has also won three mixed doubles titles.

Rafael Nadal Academy Shines With Multiple Junior Grand Slam Winners + Slam Finalist (Casper Ruud)

The Rafael Nadal Academy is getting high praise as both the boys’ singles champion Martin Landaluce and girls’ singles champion Alex Eala train at the academy. Casper Ruud, who lost in the US Open final to Carlos Alcaraz also trains there.

Alex Eala, who is from Philippines, has been training at the Rafael Nadal Academy since she was 12. She is the first Filipino to win a junior grand slam title.

Caper Ruud, who reached the world number 2 ranking after reaching two grand slam finals this year – at the French Open and the US Open- has been training at the Rafael Nadal Academy since 2018.

Rafael Nadal Academy was founded in 2016 with an eye on developing the next generation of tennis stars. The facility is located in Rafael Nadal‘s home city of Manacor in Mallorca. The facility has hard and clay courts, a football field, a world-class gym, and offers residency programs for players.
