Samsonite announced Casper Ruud as its global ambassador. The multi-year agreement will see Ruud using Samsonite backpacks and suitcases.

Ruud had a fantastic 2022 season in which he reached two grand slam finals – at the French Open and the US Open. Though he lost both grand slam finals, brands see a huge potential in Ruud. He reached a career-high ranking of world number 2 in 2022.

In 2002, he won the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award for his commendable on-court behavior. He is a former junior world number 1. He is the son of former professional player Christian Ruud.
