In a surprise move, Bianca Andreescu announced that she is working on a children’s book. The book titled “A Story about Tennis, Meditation and a Dog Named Coco” will be written by Andreescu, and Mary Beth Leatherdale and will be illustrated by Chelsea O’Byrne.

The book is expected to be released in Summer 2022 during the French Open. On Instagram, Andreescu said:

In 2019, Bianca Andreescu created history by becoming the first Canadian to win a singles grand slam title. She is also the highest-ranked Canadian women’s tennis player in history. Since her 2019 win at the US Open, Andreescu has struggled with injuries.
