Slovak tennis player Alex Molcan’s breakthrough came at the 2021 US Open where he reached the third round as a qualifier. He also reached the third round at Wimbledon in 2022. As a junior, his world rankings peaked at world  number 18. He reached the boys’ doubles finals at the Australian Open with partner Hubert Hurkacz.

At age 12, he moved to Bratislava, Slovakia for tennis training. Molcan is a fan of Rafael Nadal – admires his fighting spirit and mental toughness on the court. His current sponsors are Asics and Wilson.
